Meet Our Team
Bill
Artist
Mr. Artist began his
political career when elected to the Colorado House of Representatives
in 1980. He proceeded to serve three consecutive terms until 1986.
During this time, he was elected by his peers to serve as Majority
Caucus Chairman, and was appointed Chairman of the Governor's
International Trade Council. He won the Leftwich
Award in 1982 as the Legislator of the Year, as well as numerous other
political awards. Throughout his career, he has developed a reputation
for being one of Colorado’s premier lobbyists.

Lacee Artist
Ms. Artist has over
eight years of experience with state and federal lobbying. Prior
to joining Artist & Associates, Lacee
worked for US Senator Wayne Allard for three years as an Area
Representative where she focused on Transportation and Energy
Policy. Additionally, Lacee has
experience with campaigns on the Local, State, and Federal Level. She
is also an active member of the Denver philanthropic community as well;
serving on the boards of Advocacy Denver; Boys Hope, Girls Hope; The
Fund for American Studies; and Escuela Tlateloco.

Joe Carr
Mr. Carr joined
Artist & Associates as an intern in 2009. Prior to joining Artist
& Associates, Joe was an intern at the Independence Institute in
the Justice Policy Center. In addition to extensive campaign and
political experience, Mr. Carr also serves as a board member and
co-founder of “Energy Generation,” the Colorado Oil & Gas
Association’s young professional program. He is currently pursuing his
master’s degree at the Colorado School of Mines.
